Opening Reception: Friday, Jan. 13, 7-10pm
January 13 – February 4, 2011

Gallery1988 (Melrose) kicks off 2012 with a bang, teaming up with TV channel [adult swim] to create an artistic tribute to their aesthetic, iconic characters and numerous absurd television shows from throughout their 10 year history. We’ve enlisted over 100 artists to create paintings, prints and sculptures based on shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Metalocalypse, The Venture Bros, Children’s Hospital, Sealab 2021 and Tim & Eric, Awesome Show. G1988 favorites like Eric Tan, Sean Clarity, Bruce White, Luke Chueh, Mike Mitchell, Justin White, Martin Ontiveros, Olly Moss, Tom Whalen and Nicole Gustaffson will participate, and don’t be shocked to see many of your favorite [adult swim] stars at the show!
